ABOUT
Ms. J. Ellen Rogers is a graduate of "The Institute of Children's Literature." She has been writing children's stories all of her life. She also does her own illustrations. Some of her stories are based on her childhood experiences with animals and nature growing up with a wildlife biologist for a father.
"Hairy Legs and Wagon Wheels" is a story about "Tessy Tarantula" and her dizzy day riding on some wagon wheels, based on true events in a small town called "Vowels Mill" in the state of "Louisiana." My Uncle when he was a child would ride a wagon to school and spiders would cling on to the wheels.
When I was a child I would wonder why right before Christmas, I would see Santa everywhere. So I was inspired to write this story called "Why Santa Claus is Everywhere."
"Mugwump to the Rescue" was originally a poem I wrote and I decided to illustrate it and make it into a book, and it is all written in rhyme.
My two young cousins started their own worm farm business, and I decided to write a book about it called "Dyson and Wyatt's Wormy World." The book has step by step instructions with photos.
